Ice Fest at IMCS -
International Mountain Climbing School will partner with Cranmore Mountain to
host the 15th annual Ice Fest this weekend. Featured climbers will conduct
advanced climbing clinics. IMCS will hold beginner, intermediate and specialty
program clinics plus slide show presentations at 7 p.m. and more. Info:

Celebration, Children's Museum of Portsmouth. 10 am - 5 pm
Live Cajun music by Jimmy Jo and the Jumbol'Ayuhs, mask-making, and
children's parades through the museum led by Albert the Costumed Alligator.
There will also be regional foods to sample and each visitor will receive a
strand of colorful Mardi Gras beads to wear and take home. included in the
museum's regular price of admission: $6 for adults and children, $5 for seniors,

2/9: Ice Harvesting and Winter Carnival in
Tamworth - Come to Tamworth for a day filled with winter fun, including
sledding, cross country skiing on groomed trails, horse-drawn sleigh rides, dog
sled rides, ice skating, food, competitions and more. There will be warm food
and exciting sledding slopes, along with ice harvesting on the pond at the
Remick Museum. Activities begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. All events
