This is somewhat of a different segment from the norm on the homepage today. As part of NECN's Wedding Week on Good Morning Live, different perspectives of a wedding have been featured, with folks chiming in about everything from dresses to honeymoon locations to wedding cakes. My fiancee, Jessica, and I were called on for the dance lessons! Jessica is a self-described kindergarten ballerina dropout, and I have two (very large) left feet, so we were perfect candidates for folks starting from scratch and trying to figure out a few dance moves before the big day. Like many engaged guys, the thought of a dance lesson was a bit nerve racking to say the least - and while there was some patience that was needed, and it was a bit hard to cast away the full knowledge that I may have looked like a fool on the dance floor shuffling my feet from side to side and next to my graceful and beautiful fiancee in contrast - it was far less painful than I had feared! I can tell you this - if you have no prior experience with dance classes, you'll need more than one lesson to get ready for the big day! In fact, our instructor suggested between 10 and 15 lessons! Hats off to the Fred Astaire Studio in Belmont, MA, for taking us on, and to our instructor Michelle Montanez, who was patient, kind and supportive of a couple - and especially a tall, lanky, poorly coordinated guy - who needed that!
If you're interested in seeing what a first dance lesson might be like, or how Jessica and I did at our lesson, check out the videos below!

I like the writing structure of your blog and it does a pretty decent job of presenting the material.

These Ugg Cardy Boots are great! So comfortable Mens Ugg Outlet Boots have great look and offer you nice feel. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that Ugg Outlet Bailey Button Boots don't stay up on my calves. I have muscular calves, so they aren't very skinny. But, overall, these are great!I bought these Ugg Outlet Bailey Button Kids Boots for my daughter and she loves them. Ugg Outlet Bailey Button Triplet Boots are versatile and can be worn as short or long boots by closing a few buttons. They are warm and she wears them all day. These Ugg Outlet Classic Cardy Boots are so cute. I got the gray color. I am regularly a size 7 1/2 so I ordered the size 7 and Ugg Outlet Classic Mini Boots were way to tight so I had to go up a size to the 8 and Ugg Outlet Classic Shorts Boots are a smidge too big.Anyways,ugg-cardy.org are great Ugg Outlet Classic Tall Bootsbut I have to be very careful about where I wear them so they don't become dirty, the outside is sweater material.

Looks like you guys did awesome! Honestly I've tried to do the dance lesson thing before, and it didn't workout nearly as well as it seems to have for you. 2 left feet, etc etc. :)

Hi Matt. I'm glad you enjoyed your lesson. (I'm the one "dancing circles around you".) It was great having you at the studio. Come back again soon! -Amy
