After numerous tweets on Twitter today about the first Tropical Depression of the 2009 Atlantic Season developing just 300 miles south of Providence, RI, I figured it was time to focus on the weather that IS heading our way. So, along with my black lab, Bentley, we tackle what remains a tricky forecast.
As for Tropical Depression #1 - which *could* become Tropical Storm Ana in the 24 hour window it has to strengthen - how amazing is it to have the FIRST storm of the TROPICAL season so close to New England?! Let's hope it's not a sign of what's to come with storm tracks this year, but it IS a sign of the early season warm water to our south!!
