One of the most common questions I receive comes from folks who are in search of historical weather data. Whether for plow operators, school projects, or personal and work related research, finding this information for the hundreds of folks who ask could be a full-time job by itself! So, in an attempt to get everyone the information you need, I've posted these helpful links to find the weather data you seek. A few things to remember:
- All data is preliminary. This means it is NOT the official data. In most cases, the two will be exactly similar, but some final modifications can be and sometimes are made.
- If you need official and final data, such as for a lawsuit, you will have to pay for the data. The government keeps these official records, and your best contact to purchase this data directly is the Northeast Regional Climate Center (NRCC), housed at my Alma Mater, Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. If they don't have what you're looking for, you can also try the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC).
- Not all cities and towns have weather observing sites. Often, you'll have to settle for the town closest to you. An official site requires daily staffing, regular maintenance, and a certified instrument cluster.

It may take you some time to sort through the data, but for most purposes, you'll find what you need. In some cases, perhaps you're looking for data from a town that's directly between two or three observing sites, but is not home to its own weather station. In such instances, taking an average of the surrounding stations can be an effective method of estimation, though will not provide exact amounts, of course.
Good luck, and I hope this helps to get you started!

In terms of education, respect for officers is a duty of citizens, however, day by day the streets are problems between people and traffic officers, or police, this situation should change, for me it should implement best punishment for the person who disrespects a public servant. thanks for letting me express myself ..
