The second, third and fourth graders gave me a celebrity's welcome when I walked in for our time together to talk about weather. The lightning experiment looked especially cool in the pitch-black library, and I enjoyed chatting with some of the kids afterward, too!

The fourth graders had to take off just a bit early from our time together to practice for their big performance that's coming up. On my way out, I grabbed some video...aren't they fantastic?! Good luck with your performance, guys!

The fourth grade stayed cool in the cafeteria on a record hot day outside! We were chillin' out by learning about cloud types, and how to forecast the weather by looking at the clouds.

The fourth and fifth grade at the Merrymount School have been devoted to my Weekly Weather Word Contest since the start of the school year - and for the fifth graders, it's been two years running! So, it was extra-special to see these fine young authors...and a few of them were even wearing the NECN Weather on the Ones t-shirts they won in their prize package!
