Daily Forecast: Great Holiday Weather Turns to Rain & Snow Friday, Cold Weekend Air and Perhaps Late Sunday Snow
Thanksgiving mild air and sun gives way to Friday rain...and snow! After a blustery weekend, I'll be closely watching a storm developing Sunday evening/night but right now it's too early to confidently predict more than snow showers...I'll keep you posted. Today (Thanksgiving Thursday): Sun & clouds, chilly start, pleasant finish. Highs in the 50s. West-southwest wind 5-10 mph.
Overnight Thursday Night: Clouds thicken. Showers arrive after midnight. Lows in the 30s. West-southwest wind 5-10 mph.
Friday: Rain showers end as snow showers late south, rain turns to accumulating snow North Country. Highs in the 40s. Southwest wind becomes west and increases 8-18 mph with higher gusts evening and night.
Saturday: Blustery with clouds and sun, mountain snow showers. Highs in the 30s, wind chill 20s. West wind 10-20 mph with higher gusts.
