Daily Forecast: Thursday Warmth Replaced Quickly, Partial Lunar Eclipse Likely Compromised By Clouds

After highs near 70° Thursday afternoon, clouds and showers come with unfortunate timing, likely to obscure the partial lunar eclipse that peaks around 4 AM Friday morning. The showers come along a cold front that will mark the arrival of sharply cooler air from Friday into the weekend. Today (Thursday):  Sun & clouds, mild, breezy. Highs in the 60s. South-southwest wind 10-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Overnight Thursday Night:  A period of rain. Lows around 40 late. Southwest wind becomes northwest at 8-18 mph.

Friday:  Brisk breeze, fair sky, few flurries. Highs in the 40s. West-northwest wind 10-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Saturday:  Sun and slowly increasing high altitude clouds. Highs in the 40s, near 40 north. Northwest wind becomes southwest at 2-12 mph.
