Daily Forecast: Arctic Chill This Weekend, Storm Sunday Night into Monday

Arctic cold surges back into New England this weekend, setting the stage for a likely burst of overnight snow Sunday night before a rain/snow line comes into play Monday with the potential for coastal flooding at a late morning high tide. Today (Friday):  Cloudy, Cape Cod showers. Highs around 40. North-northwest wind 15-25 mph.

Overnight Friday Night:  Whipping wind, subzero wind chill. Lows in the single digits. Northwest wind 15-30 mph with gusts to 50 mph.

Saturday:  Stinging wind chill, sunshine. Highs in the teens, wind chill subzero. Northwest wind 15-25 mph with some higher gusts.

Sunday:  Bright, lighter wind. Highs in the 20s. Light and variable wind.

Monday:  Deep interior snow, southeast rain, mix in the middle. Highs in the 40s southeast, 30s for many. East wind 15-30 mph with higher gusts at the coast.
