Daily Forecast: Up to Half a Foot of Snow To Hit MA Islands, Busy Pattern Ahead

A shot of snow and wind will blow through the Cape, Islands and South Coast Monday afternoon through evening, dropping as much as half a foot of snow to Nantucket but missing much of New England entirely. Today (Monday):  Cloudy with PM Cape Cod snow. Highs near 30, wind chill 20. North wind 10-20 mph with higher gusts.

Overnight Monday Night:  Cape and Island snow ends 9 PM to 11 PM, then clearing. Total accumulation 1-2" at the Canal, 2"-4" Mid-Cape, 4"-6" Islands.  Clearing for all. Lows in the teens. Northwest wind 5-15 mph, higher Cape Cod.

Tuesday:  Sunny.  Highs around 30. West to southwest wind 5-10 mph. 

Wednesday:  Rain showers south, mixed showers north. Highs in the 40s south, near 40 north. South-southeast wind 8-18 mph.
