Daily Forecast: Drier Air Arrives for the Weekend With Only a Limited Shower Chance

Today (Thursday):  Heavy AM rain/thunder to scattered PM thunder, humid, then clearing for evening. Highs in the 70s. Southeast wind becomes southwest at 10-20 mph.

Overnight Thursday Night:  Clearing, less humid. Lows in the 50s. West-southwest wind 5-15 mph.

Friday:  Mostly sunny. Highs around 80. Southwest wind 4-12 mph.

Saturday:  Variable clouds.  A chance of showers after dark. Highs 75-80. West-southwest wind 4-8 mph, sea breezes.

Sunday:  Chance of an early shower, otherwise clouds & sun with widely scattered showers at times in Northern New England. Highs in the 70s.

Monday:  Building clouds with scattered showers and thunder. Highs in the 70s.
