Daily Forecast: Pleasant Air Set to Slip for Record Heat

Today (Wednesday):  Mostly sunny, PM fair weather clouds may drop an isolated sprinkle. Highs in the 80s. Light and variable wind, sea breezes.

Overnight Wednesday Night:  Areas of clouds and fog late. Lows in the 60s. Southwest wind 2-6 mph.

Thursday:  AM areas of fog to hot & humid sun. Record heat with highs 95-100, First Alert for heat index 100°+. Southwest wind 8-16 mph.

Friday:  Hot and humid with scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms, some of which will be strong, particularly in Northern New England. Highs in the 90s, heat index around 100°. Southwest wind 5-15 mph.
