Friday through Monday may not bring record heat, but will bring continued impactful heat and humidity with heat index values continuing to hit 100° at times and scattered afternoon and evening thunder. Today (Thursday): Hot sun, moderate humidity. Record highs 95°-100°, heat index 100°+. Southwest wind 8-16 mph with higher gusts late.
Overnight Thursday Night: Slight chance of an early storm far north/west, otherwise humid. Lows around 70. Southwest wind 2-10 mph.
Friday: Sweltering humidity, continued hot, scattered PM thunder. Highs in the 90s, heat index around 100°. Southwest wind 6-12 mph may become a sea breeze late.
Saturday and Sunday: Humid with areas of morning clouds and fog giving way to sun & clouds with scattered PM and evening thunder. Highs in the 90s.
