Daily Forecast: A Great Weekend, Albeit With Some Smoke and Waves

The weekend is great, overall - but wildfire smoke in the Northern New England sky Friday evening expands south Saturday, wispy clouds arrive Sunday and both days bring rip currents to the beaches from far offshore Hurricane Earl.  Full details in the forecast video and remember, in addition to the NBC10 Boston and NECN station apps, to download my personal Matt Noyes Weather app to communicate directly with me!

Today (Friday):  Sunny with delightful air. Highs 75-80. Northeast wind becomes south-southeast late at 0-8 mph.

Overnight Friday Night:  Crisp and clear. Lows 55-60. Southwest wind becomes west at 2-8 mph.

Saturday:  Summery warmth under sun. Highs in the 80s. Light and variable wind, sea breezes.

Sunday:  Milky sky under a veil of clouds. Highs around 80. West-southwest wind 2-8 mph.

Monday:  More clouds than sun with a chance of showers, particularly south. Highs in the 70s.
