Daily Forecast: Much Needed Rain Slows Travel Labor Day & Tuesday

Today (Monday):  Expanding pockets of rain, downpours and thunder. Localized flash flooding. Highs around 70. Light and variable wind becomes east at 2-10 mph.

Overnight Monday Night:  Rain, downpours and fog. Lows around 60. East wind 2-10 mph.

Tuesday:  Rain to showers, patchy fog. Highs in the 60s. East wind 8-14 mph.

Wednesday:  Sun & puffy clouds, some of which may drop an isolated shower or sprinkle on Southern New England. Highs in the 70s. East-northeast wind 4-12 mph.
