Daily Forecast Video: Colder Air Flexes South Wednesday Night Into Thursday

Daily Forecast Video: Light Icing For Some Tuesday AM, Again Thursday AM

A sharp contrast between cool air north and mild air south is setting up directly over Southern New England Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm tracking a few icy spots Tuesday morning from Western MA to Central and Western NH into Central and Southern VT, otherwise plain rain is expected.  Full details in the forecast video and remember, in addition to the NBC10 Boston and NECN station apps, to download my personal Matt Noyes Weather app to communicate directly with me!

Today (Tuesday):  AM showers & isolated icy spots, PM rain, evening fog. Highs in the 40s. East-southeast wind 2-10 mph.

Overnight Tuesday Night:  Showers, areas of fog. Lows in the 30s north, 40s south. Nearly calm wind.

Wednesday:  Cloudy, sprinkles, late rain fills in. Highs in the 40s north, 50s south. Light and variable wind becoming east at 5-10 mph late.

Thursday:  Raw feeling with a few showers of rain, snow and ice scattered around, creating patchy morning icy spots in interior Southern, Central and Northern New England. Highs in the 30s, 40 South Coast. Northeast wind 8-16 mph.
