Rain in Southern New England and snow in the northern half of New England will gradually change to all snow from northwest to southeast Monday, leaving slick conditions for many by day's end. Today (Monday): Rain to snow. Generally 2"-4", 4"-8" north. Temperatures fall through the 30s. North-northwest wind 8-18 mph.
Overnight Monday Night: Clearing sky, slick spots on roads. Lows in the 20s. Northwest wind 10-20 mph.
Tuesday: Variable clouds. Highs near 40°. West wind 8-18 mph.
Wednesday: Cloudy start, snow arrives during the afternoon to evening, south to north, respectively, and accumulates into the night before changing to rain in Southern New England with strong overnight wind on Cape Cod. Highs in the 30s. Southeast wind 5-15 mph, becoming south at 15-30 mph at night on Cape Cod with overnight gusts over 60 mph possible.
