Snow and sleet Monday morning starts the holiday on a slippery note, but as temperatures rise above freezing, conditions on treated roads will improve late morning onward, then temperatures in the 40s return Tuesday. Today (Monday): Snow & rain showers, blustery wind. Highs in the 30s, wind chill 20s. North-northwest wind 10-20 mph, gusting to 40 mph near the coast.
Overnight Monday Night: Early sprinkle/flurry, then partial clearing with icy spots on roads in Eastern New England. Lows in the 20s. Northwest wind 5-15 mph.
Tuesday: Sun to increasing clouds. Evening/night showers. Highs in the 40s. West wind 2-12 mph.
Wednesday: Fair and mild. Highs 45-50°. West-northwest wind 10-15 mph.
