Daily Forecast Video: Is The Incoming Cold Dangerous for Everyone, or Just Some?

It's not often that New England deals with dangerous cold - but for whom is it dangerous?  Certainly, most of us emerge unscathed after these blasts. Today (Thursday):  Seasonable chill under a fair sky. Highs 35-40°, wind chill 25-30°. Southwest wind 10-20 mph.

Overnight Thursday Night:  A few passing snow showers, heavier squalls north. Arctic wind begins. Lows 20° south, 0° north. Southwest wind becomes northwest at 10-20 mph, increasing late.

Friday:  Bitter cold wind chill becomes dangerous late. Fair sky. Temperatures fall to the teens south, below zero north. Subzero late day wind chill, around -30° overnight Friday night. Northwest wind 15-30 mph with gusts to 45 mph that will cause isolated power outages.

Saturday:  Dangerous cold early, then stinging cold under a fair sky. Highs in the teens south, below zero north. Northwest wind 10-20 mph early, then decreasing.
