Our weather gets marginally better Thursday with a few breaks of sun and a noticeably lighter breeze...then more improvement Friday before snowflakes and raindrops return Friday night and Saturday for many in Southern New England. Today (Thursday): More clouds than sun, late day shower east. Highs in the 40s, wind chill 30s. Northwest wind becomes north, 5-15 mph.
Overnight Thursday Night: Any isolated early showers dwindle. Lows in the 20s. Northwest wind 4-8 mph.
Friday: Variable clouds fill in late. Snow arrives late evening to CT and Western MA, overnight farther east. Highs in the 40s. Light northwest wind becomes southwest and then south.
Saturday: Snow and rain showers. 2"-3" in Western CT, a coating to 2" from Providence to Hartford and just a coating elsewhere in Southern New England. Clouds & limited sun north. Highs in the 30s. North-northeast wind 10-20 mph.
