Daily Forecast Video: Snow to Mix Friday Night to Saturday, Near Blizzard Conditions Maine Coast Saturday

A burst of snow will deliver varied snowfall totals Friday night into Saturday, with most Southern New England roads improving quickly Saturday but more sluggish improvement in the colder temperatures of Central and Southern New England where snow will continue.  Sunday and Monday are quieter. Today (Friday):  AM sun, PM clouds. Highs in the 40s, 30s north. Northwest wind becomes light, then southeast at 2-8 mph.

Overnight Friday Night:  Snow, heavy at times, mixing with sleet and rain south. Lows around 30°. East-southeast wind 6-16 mph.

Saturday:  AM snow, mix and coastal rain tapers to PM snow showers. Windy at the coast. Highs in the 30s. East to northeast wind 15-30 mph, 25-35 mph at the coast with gusts over 40 mph and over 50 on Cape Cod.

Sunday:  Variable clouds. Highs 35-40°. Northwest wind 6-16 mph.

Monday:  Clouds and sun. Highs around 40°.
