Be sure to download the NBC10 Boston, NECN and my own "Matt Noyes Weather" apps in your app store, for Apple and Android!

Generally, a coating to two inches of snow fell across coastal and Eastern Massachusetts Wednesday morning, with highest amounts in Southeast MA.  Ocean-effect snow showers will impact the middle and Outer Cape overnight Wednesday night, but otherwise drying takes hold with wintry chill lasting until some Friday moderation, then a warmer weekend.  Full details in the forecast video and remember, in addition to the NBC10 Boston and NECN station apps, to download my personal Matt Noyes Weather app to communicate directly with me!

Today (Wednesday):  Eastern MA snow showers taper by afternoon for most, sun & clouds elsewhere. Chilly with highs in the 30s. North-northeast to north wind 5-15 mph, 10-20 mph on Cape Cod.

Overnight Tonight:  Clearing, cold. Cape Cod snow showers. Lows around 20, 10 north. Northwest wind 5-15 mph.

Thursday:  Continued cold with variable clouds. Highs in the 30s. Northwest wind 4-12 mph.
