Daily Forecast Video: Snow showers likely to create slick spots in Eastern MA Tuesday night into Wednesday morning

Wintry cold air has a grip on New England for a few days, but the biggest headaches from it likely come overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as a disturbance capitalizes on ocean moisture to consolidate snow showers in Eastern MA overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday.  Full details in the forecast video and remember, in addition to the NBC10 Boston and NECN station apps, to download my personal Matt Noyes Weather app to communicate directly with me!

Today (Tuesday):  Sun & clouds, flurries/sprinkles. Highs 35-40. Northwest wind becomes north at 2-12 mph.

Overnight Tonight:  Coastal snow & rain showers organize. Lows in the 20s for most, 30s southeast. North-northeast wind 4-10 mph.

Wednesday:  AM to midday snow showers east, then southeast, dropping a coating to 1" of snow, perhaps locally higher amounts in Southeast MA. Highs in the 30s. North wind 5-15 mph.

Thursday:  Fair with wintry air. Highs 35-40. Northwest breeze 0-8 mph.
