Daily Forecast Video: A quick shot of snow ahead of a returning blustery wind

A quick shot of snow comes in Thursday evening and night, lingering in some of Northern New England into Friday morning as blustery conditions return on Friday and may result in summit chairlift holds - especially in Vermont and Southwest New Hampshire - Friday morning.  Full details in the forecast video and remember, in addition to the NBC10 Boston and NECN station apps, to download my personal Matt Noyes Weather app to communicate directly with me!

Today (Thursday):  Sunny start, cloudy finish, evening snow arrives. Highs 35-40. Northwest wind becomes south-southwest at 6-14 mph.

Overnight Tonight:  Snow showers taper. Accumulation generally 1"-2".  Lows in the 20s. South-southwest wind becomes west at 8-18 mph.

Friday:  Blustery with sun & clouds. Highs in the 30s, wind chill 20. West to northwest wind 15-25 mph, gusts to 40.

Saturday:  More clouds than sun with scattered snow showers. Highs in the 30s. West wind 4-12 mph.
