Video: Norlun trough likely to produce locally heavy snow amidst broader light snow at week's end
January 04, 2011
An ocean storm developing southeast of New England at the end of the week will interact with a weaker storm over the Eastern Great Lakes to create a Norlun trough over New England by Friday into Saturday - producing disorganized bursts of snow Thursday night and Friday in Southwestern New England, then shifting to a more organized band of snow somewhere along the Maine coast by Friday night into Saturday. Until then, relatively quiet weather prevails.
