Here Comes the Backdoor Cold Front...Evident on Satellite in Northeast Maine

SatelliteHere comes the change of air - cumulus clouds popping in Northeast Maine, progressing southwest.  As the light and variable wind turns to a sea breeze along the coast, that will only serve to accelerate the progression of cool fall air that will moisten with the input of the ocean, delivering a new, chillier feeling from northeast to southwest by late day and evening, leaving sprinkles, showers and patchy drizzle overnight Friday night, then a few sprinkles and showers from time to time Saturday in Central/Southern New England. Interesting to note sun is possible in the far North Country, Eastern Maine and even for a time on Cape Cod Saturday, most into the cool air and therefore able to dry a bit.
